Siblings are a huge part of who we are. Most of ou

Siblings are a huge part of who we are. Most of our children in Fond Blanc come from a sibling set, here within our walls. Several of our kids have siblings that live elsewhere, whether at home or with other relatives. And a few of our children have siblings that live at the Fontamara Church.

There are very few things that have been as palpable as the stress some of our children feel as they think about their families and siblings being stuck in Port Au Prince during this time. While they recognize that staying put at Fontamara is the safer option, they also do understand that Fontamara is struggling with access to food & clean water right now.

For many of our siblings, they only really get to see each other a few times a year. And with what has been happening in Haiti over the last several years, it has been notably less in recent times. Many of our photos of the siblings sets are from several years ago. We are now asking you help support Fontamara so we can help ensure we can take these photos again.

All funds donated Monday through Wednesday will directly fund food and supplies for our sister church in Fontamara!

Our Fond Blanc Orphanage and school was created as

Our Fond Blanc Orphanage and school was created as a response to a need; a need to create a safer space for Pastor Jean Claude to move children who were living at his church and school in Fontamara following the 2010 earthquake. While we have spent much of our time getting to know and love our children within the confines of Fond Blanc, many of them grew up in the Fontamara Church, located in Port Au Prince, Haiti. Not only that, many of them still have family and friends that live around and attend church at Fontamara.

As we are sure you have seen, Port au Prince is not the place to be right now. Unfortunately many of our families and friends don’t have much of a choice: it is their home. And while in times past, many of these families were able to lean on the Fontamara Church when things got tough or food got tight, with the realities surrounding the current conditions within Port Au Prince, Fontamara has unfortunately run out of resources to be able to aid those in their community.

That brings us to why we are here. We are asking for your help in supporting our sister church. We are currently seeking both prayers & financial support as we look to help feed and fund this tightly connected community. All funds donated Monday through Wednesday will directly fund food and supplies for our sister church in Fontamara!
