Last week, we hosted our 8th annual Rally on the Runway event, supporting education for the village of Fond Blanc.

Gratefully, we were once again able to gather in-person, serve and celebrate our friends and partners in Fond Blanc, and raise enough money to continue supporting the school for the year ahead.  We were elated to have such a great turn out at this year’s Rally, arguably the best attendance yet. And with your support, we were able to bring about the addition of a vocational sewing school in Fond Blanc. We are very excited about this expansion, and the kids have been loving getting to learn this new skill. Our hope is that it will provide them more job possibilities as they grow up.

We were thrilled to have a very special guest in attendance this year, Pastor Jean Claude, who founded the orphanage and school in Fond Blanc. Pastor traveled a long way to be at the event, because it was so important to him to share his immense gratitude for the support of our community. He also expanded upon the huge difference that the Fond Blanc Foundation’s support has made since its inception nearly 10 years ago.
